Did anyone see the eclipse 20 March 2015?

The solar eclipse was not visible from North America. But everyone in Europe should have been able to see it. Did anyone see it? (And do you have pictures?)

I saw the end part, with the moon eclipsing about 1/4 of the sun. But no piccies, my seeing even the end was by happenstance as I hadn't bothered myself with the happening.
I just happened to meet an acquaintance on the school yard; she had with her some welders glasses.

Nope, no smiley sun for me. Cloud cover was pretty thick, I could barely even see it grow darker. Nearby cities managed a few glimpses judging by the photos appearing on new feeds, but our sky stayed overcast all the way through and then some. Only in the late afternoon did I see the sun today and by then it was long over. Shame.

Too much clouds in Oslo as well.
They talked to a metereologist on the local news, he would be working at a solar observatory and was hoping that there might be a few minutes of clearer weather - but I doubt he got them.

They asked him why he hadn't travelled to Svalbard instead, to see it where there was 100 % - and he said that he had only thought about it in 2008, and that was too late - the hotels had been been fully booked for a year already by then.

Nothing visible here either. Some parts of the country caught glimpses, but in my town it was just a lot of clouds. Wasn't even noticeably darker.

I'm not even in Europe (I'm in Morocco), but I saw it! It was visible here, although the moon's shadow only went as far as covering about 50% of the sun.

I took some photos, which you can see here (the text is in Swedish, though...):

Those are very nice photographs, Nerdanel. What did you use for filter? (I don’t read Swedish, but Google Translate worked quite well.)

Who else saw the eclipse?

Thanks, Alcuin! I bought solar filter sheets a couple of years ago, that I made filter for my binoculars with. I used the same filter on my camera - it's just standard solar filter paper used for telescopes.
