IMG-tags not accepted?

Do images take too much space - is that the reason I cant post this http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...daykopiera.jpg image on the Cafe?

Glad to know.
Best

It seems your problem resolved itself - I see you were eventually able to post that pic in the Teacup Café.

What I meant was that the image doesnt show itself directly - you have click on the link in order to see it.

The IMG code is on in the General Messages forum and I can see the image you posted in the Teacup Café perfectly well without having to click on any link. Isn't it the same for you?

The reason why you have to click the link in this thread to see the picture, is because you used the URL code rather than the IMG code.

I’ve been embedding pictures and images off my own website for some time using, for instance,

I was going to write, "Tonight, it doesn’t work."

Then I tested the file and got,

Lovely. Now check exactly the same coding in this post. It doesn't work there.

Does anyone have any idea why it works some times and not others?

Different forums.

If I recall correctly, IMG is only allowed in the GM-forum and a few of the Other Topic forums but disabed in the Tolkien forums.

Ah.

You know, embedded images are not altogether disabled in the Tolkien forums. For instance, here, here, and here.

Might the Admins reconsider and enable them in all the Tolkien forums? If you need to specify rules for embedding, that’s understandable.
